Chris Donald

Alabama Car Lawyers LLC

Chris Donald began his practice of law after a first career working with UNIX and DEC operating systems and software development. His “sideline” work during that time, and for the past three decades, has been managing his family’s Alabama forestland for timber growth, hunting, and recreation. Boundary line issues encountered in this land work led him to pursue a law degree in mid-life, taking classes at night and on the weekends, where, in keeping with the adage about the blind squirrel, he somehow managed to graduate first in his class. During his time at law school, he met and became instant friends with his future law partner, Mike Parrish, who teaches Commercial Law. After working on cases together for many years, Chris formally joined forces with Mike as Parrish and Donald after which they started the firm of Alabama Car Lawyers LLC. Most of their practice is devoted to consumer law issues which usually involve lying, cheating, stealing, and corporate greed in the sale, warranty and repair of cars, trucks and recreational vehicles. For the past two years, Chris has taught Commercial Law as an adjunct professor at Birmingham School of Law.  He is an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and hunter, and he enjoys backpacking, biking, and skiing with his sons and his wife Kristi.
